RESEARCH

My research interests have been focused on the exotic superconductivity and superfluidity in strongly correlated systems.I studied spin-triplet superconductivity, Fulde-Ferrell-Larkin-Ovchinnikov superconductivity/superfluidity, non-centrosymmetric superconductivity, and locally non-centrosymmetric superconductivity on the basis of the electronic structure of materials by combining the microscopic many body theory and semi-macroscopic phenomenological theories,.

In this project I will study the non-centrosymmetric superconductors with orbital degree of freedom. Since the antisymmetric spin-orbit coupling, such as Rashba spin-orbit coupling, arises from the orbital degree of freedom, it is desired to study non-centrosymmetric systems on the basis of multi-orbital models. My project is intended to reveal the novel quantum phenomena arising from the synergy of orbital degree of freedom and non-centrosymmetric crystal structure.
