RESEARCH

I have developed high-resolution angle-resolved photoemission spectrometers at Tohoku University, and have studied fine electronic states in the vicinity of the Fermi level of high-temperature copper-oxide superconductors. My recent research also involves the novel electronic properties of iron-pnictide superconductors, graphene, and Rashba metals.

In this project, we study electronic states of topological insulators and related materials by high-resolution spin- and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy.
