RESEARCH
I have experimentally studied interactions between photons and atoms. After graduation, I stepped into the field of low temperature physics via research on ultracold ytterbium atoms and molecules using the laser cooling. In the current laboratory, I have experimentally researched on multi-component gaseous Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) including the spinor BEC which has spin degrees of freedom. Especially, spin 2 Rb BEC has a possibility of novel fractional vortices in some magnetic phases caused by topological quantum effects.
In this project, I will experimentally investigate dynamics of novel quantum vortices in spin 2 spinor BEC.
