RESEARCH

My main research field follows: superfluid helium 3 and 4, solid helium, novel superconducting junctions and superconducting quantum interference devices. Recently, I began to research the SQUID. Recently, I started a research of superconductivity of ruthenate Sr2RuO4 which have a spin triplet chiral p-wave symmetry. It is considered as an electronic analogue of superfluid 3He-A.

In this project "Topological Quantum Phenomena in Condensed Matter with Broken Symmetries", I fabricate hybrid Nb-Sr2RuO4 dc-SQUIDs, composed of Niobium, ruthenate and two Nb/Ru/Sr2RuO4 junctions, by building a Niobium bridge between two individual Ru islands of eutectic Ru-Sr2RuO4 and study superconducting phenomena primarily from chiral symmetry and ruthenate eutectic systems.
