RESEARCH

I have studied the interplay between symmetry and topology in unconventionall superfluids and superconductors, including 3He and cold atoms. Among such systems, since the liquid 3He isotropic Fermi liquids and maintains high symmetry, it provides a prototypical platform to study a rich variety of topological quantum phenomena. Based on the superfluid 3He, I have deepened understanding on topological quantum phase transitions, mass acquisition of surface Majorana fermions, and odd-frequency pairing.

In this project, I study the dynamics and transport properties of topological superfluids 3He and propose practical ways to observe quantum phenomena associated with Majorana Fermions. I also expand the theory to unconventional superconductors and neutron stars.
