RESEARCH
My major research interest is about topological monolayer materials. I have proposed various ideas on topological spin-valleytonics, topological field-effect-transistors and perfect spin filters. I have also studied skyrmions in magnetic thin films. I have proposed skyrmion logic gates and a conversion mechanism between a skyrmion and a domain-wall pair. In this project, I study topological semimetals such as Weyl and loop-node semimetals. I will predict new properties of three dimensional honeycomb systems generalizing the results on two dimensional honeycomb systems. I search for novel topological phases based on new types of crystalline symmetries. I will propose topological devices based on topological materials.EDUCATION
